Delivery Rider Agreement

1. Independent Contractor Status

Delivery riders (“Riders”) operate as independent contractors and not as employees of CraveCart. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.

2. Eligibility Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess valid national ID
• Have a valid driver’s license (if using a motor vehicle)
• Provide required documentation for verification

3. Rider Responsibilities

• Pick up orders promptly from partner restaurants
• Deliver orders safely and professionally
• Handle food items with care
• Maintain communication with customers when necessary

4. Payments & Earnings

Riders earn delivery fees based on completed deliveries. Payment structure may include:

• Base delivery fee
• Distance-based compensation
• Incentives and bonuses (if applicable)

Payments are processed weekly or as determined by CraveCart.

5. Equipment & Vehicle

Riders are responsible for providing and maintaining their own vehicle, fuel, mobile device, and safety equipment.

6. Code of Conduct

• Maintain professionalism and respect
• No harassment or misconduct
• No tampering with orders
• No fraudulent activity

7. Safety & Compliance

Riders must comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations in Ghana. CraveCart encourages safe driving at all times.

8. Suspension & Termination

CraveCart reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Rider’s access for violations of this Agreement, fraud, misconduct, or safety concerns.

9. Liability & Insurance

Riders are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicle and personal liability. CraveCart is not liable for accidents, damages, or injuries occurring during deliveries.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
